[Mono-list] Simplest way to put Mono, on Ubuntu

To find out if your program is going to run please use the Mono Migration Analyzer (there is a Windows version) http://www.mono-project.com/MoMA
The mono runtime is already available on Ubuntu in the default install because a number of default packages depend on it (F-Spot and Tomboy at least).

Thank you for the reply. Do you know if there is a run time mono for unbuntu
I can install in a similar simple step. I have the Southbeach built under
Windows, and simply want to move the .exe to mono and run it. Is this
possible?
