hi
I've read through the the article about mono licencing trying to
figure out how to *practically* work with mono and never face any
microsoft related patenting issues.

On the paragraph "Patent" on the site http://mono-project.com/License
you say that:
"
Could patents be used to completely disable Mono?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
...For Linux server and desktop development, we only need the ECMA
components, and things that we have developed (like Gtk#) or Apache
integration.
"
That is excactly what I want: Targeting the linux server and desktop
development only. The problem is I'm not sure if I understand this
correctly.
- Do you say that as long you are working on a non-Microsoft plattform
you are on the safe side?
- Or is there something like a patent-safe mono stack?

thanks
ben
