>From what I understand, most http clients are supposed to limit
themselves to 2 connections to a single server at a time. To avoid
that, many sites (like google maps) use multiple subdomains handle the
requests. This is why you will see domains like mt0.google.com and
mt1.google.com during google maps usage. Hope that helps.
