Other last thingh, is , it could be better to use opensuse 11 and
install mono after, yu will not add "developper environment" by defaut
but it could be better and up to date for opensuse:
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/11.0/iso/cd/openSUSE-11.0-KDE4-LiveCD-i386.iso

-You can not directly access to hard disk partion from Virtual machine
to real (guest ) PC, you must use network ability
