[Mono-list] executing mono binaries without explicit runtime invocation on opensuse

Hello all,

is there any equivalent to the ubuntu binfmt-support package for
opensuse? I would like to start my mono applications without prefixing
them with the mono runtime when executing from a shell. Is there any
other way to do this except shell-scripts or aliases?
