[Mono-list] Mono slowing down system on openSuse

Hey all,

I have the latest release of Mono (2.0.1) installed on a VM running openSuse
11 x86_64 and on an actual machine running openSuse 10.2 i386. In both
cases, after a .NET app runs for a while (sometimes a few minutes, sometimes
over an hour), everything else on the systems bogs down.

For example, on openSuse 10.2, it can take 30 seconds to open gedit. On the
openSuse 11 VM, I sometimes can't even open any applications - even the
logout screen fails to show up sometimes. These problems only begin to show
up after running an application with mono.

My application is using WinForms, but I thought I'd post to the general list
to see if anyone else has come across this problem, and if anyone knows why
it happens and how I can fix it.
