... and it apparently reuses parts of the Mono class libraries.
Portable.NET does work nicely on BeOS though, while Mono works on
Haiku only with some hacks .
Depending on the platform you're interested in, there are/were others
as well - e.g., on Symbian OS [2, ?] or Palm OS .
Microsoft also had the so-called Shared Source CLI (codename Rotor)
 on some BSD.
