[Mono-list] Strange input handling in Windows Terminal

Hi,
Yesterday I've played a bit with getline.cs (http://tirania.org/blog/archive/2008/Aug-26.html). It works great on Linux, Mac OSX and on Windows but only under .NET. When I try to run simple program using getline under mono in Windows Terminal, whenever I press any key it's outputted twice (any visible character). I remember that some time in the past I've run into the same problem using sample Microsoft program:

It exposes the same behaviour. It's allright on Mono as long as it's run under Linux/Mac OSX. It seems to me that something is buggy in console handling on Windows.
