Wow! That's Pretty harsh. I am new to this list, but my suggestion would be
to keep asking and keep searching for the solution to your problem.
Tracking down the reason for why things don't work or experimenting with
components or subsystems that are not documented or not fully documented is
an excellent way to understand what's going on. I would try looking at the
underlying source code for the Gtk/X bits.
I haven't used GTK#, but I would try:
