Hello,
momentarily I am evaluating different IDEs for developing a
Mono-Webapplication with ASP.NET. When it is finished it shall run on
Windows but priorly on Linux.
My question is now which IDE you would recommend for a project like this.
Just to hear some different opinions. The way of development is not
specified yet. That means that the development could be done using Linux and
Monodevelop or Windows and VS.NET or any other IDE for Windows. Criteria for
this development are a good debugger, comfortable programming and an
efficient testing strategie.
Another question I got is if there is any plugin for VS.NET 2005 which uses
the Mono compiler so that VS.NET can be used for programming directly with
Mono.
I am very curious to hear your answers to this post. Thanks to anybody who
bothers to writing an answer.
Best regards,
dr_d00m
