[Mono-list] Random freezes (mysql provider related?)

Mike,

You should try sending a -QUIT signal to the mono process after it 
freezes, which will cause it to print out a stack trace for all running 
threads.

I ran into a similar issue, caused by the use of timers in the MySQL 
Connector, but it was a bug only in a previous Mono 1.2.4 preview 
release which has since been fixed. You should try updating to the 
latest 1.2.4 preview if you can, to see if that changes anything. (I 
guess 1.2.4 is here: 
http://mono.ximian.com/monobuild/preview/download-preview/ But I'm 
guessing 1.2.4 will be actually released any day now, since it's been a 
while since the last preview.)
