Hi,
i am struggling with mdb, which doesn't work from the binary
installation(s) or source build.
i quickly test on Ubuntu 6.0.6, 6.10 and Fedora 5 & 6 with different
mono rpm's and deb's. After that with mono-1.2.2.1_1-installer.bin
and also build from mono-debugger-0.30.tar.gz.
Situation exactly as a bug 78962
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=78962 and i am testing
"hello world" debugging to start with - no luck.
Recommendations from 77062
http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77062 to set
LD_LIBRARY_PATH, use of /home/amc/mono-1.2.2.1/bin/mono --debug ....
additional MONO_PATH and MONO_CFG_DIR doesn't help much.
Is that because mono-1.2.2.1_1-installer.bin has mono with
MONO_DEBUGGER__debugger_info stripped? There is nothing comes out from
nm -D | grep MONO
Do I need to build mono from sources with "K
MONO_DEBUGGER__debugger_info" to use mdb? Or there are any other way?
i am just started with mono and any help will be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
anatoly
