There aren't 2 backends, only 1.  You need to set BOTH variables using  
my updated drivers because you're blending some old and new  
libraries.  In 1.2.7 the environment variable will be changed to  
CARBON_BACKEND only.

Please set BOTH variables and Reflector will work fine.
