[Mono-list] Mono repositories for Ubuntu

Seems like the build expects a "debian.tar" file which contains all the
Debian-specific files (i.e. the debian/ folder).
I've managed to use the openSUSE build service to package Mono for
Debian Etch. The results can be found here:
http://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=libgdiplus-debian&project=home%3Afcarlier
http://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=mono-debian&project=home%3Afcarlier
It fails to build on Ubuntu:
/bin/bash: halt: command not found
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Anyway, this kind of is a "proof of concept" that you can use the
openSUSE build service to package Mono for Debian. As of now, it doesn't
really provide you with anything new (mono 1.2.3 is already packaged for
Debian). If anyone is interested in trying out the build process with
Mono SVN, let me know.
Frederik.
