[Mono-list] Observed difference in behaviour between Mono and .NET Runtime

Hello,

I have been working with some code under Mono & .NET and I found the 
following inconsistency in behaviour.  I am not suggesting that this is 
a bug in Mono, but merely drawing attention to the difference.

A test case is available at the following URL, a comment outlines the 
result. In summary, Mono throws an Exception in a case where the .NET 
Runtime does not.
