I used to have couple of projects on NovellForge: I cannot agree with
you about the fact it is better than SourceForge for various reasons,
in fact I switched all my project to the second one after a while.
Having a faster or simpler UI than SF.net (and I don't agree on both
of the concepts) is not something you have to consider when managing a
project aiming to be important and accessed by many developers or
simple users at the same time.
You need a stable structure you can lean on in critical moments and
you also need visibility among the development community:
SourceForge.net is continuously monitored by millions of developers
each day, some of them searching for projects to join.
I could continue for hours debating why SourceForge is better than
NovellForge, but I believe it's clear to many readers of this mailing
list, so I don't want to go on this topic.
Cheers
Antonello
