[Mono-list] Problems on compiling monotools

Hi,

During compilation of mono-tools I get the following error. This happens 
on running the  configure on checking the mono-nunit.

Package mono-nunit was not found in pkg-config search path. ...
Library requirements (mono-unit) not  met; consider adjusting the 
PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in ...

What have I to do?
