[Mono-list] Page_load is trying to complete a validation when it shouldn't be

I am having an issue in which all my <asp:requiredfieldvalidator> fields
which are dynamic are showing the <span> error messages automatically in
a page load on Mono 1.1.13.4, running on Debian.

I THINK this has been bugged as 77149
(http://bugzilla.ximian.com/show_bug.cgi?id=77149), but I am not sure.

Anyone know if a new stable build will be out any time soon that will
fix this? The last stable build was January 11th, and we are now coming
to the end of March. And, does anyone know a work around for this bug
until then? Making the fields static is not an option due to layout
constraints.
