Hi,

Everyone can just ask Miguel to become an editor. I don't think it is
a blocker. Hit his inbox with your emails :-)

We use Mediawiki rather as a CMS than as a WikiWikiWeb implementation,
so there is no reason to open it up to anonymous Joe. (As you guess,
there are reasons that it had better *not* be open.) Along with the
original subject, such anonymous ones are unlikely to become a FAQ
*maintainer*. Continuous maintenance to some extent is expected.
