Well, it looks from their website as if the basic language is Object 
Pascal, which originated with Borland's Delphi. So books and tutorials 
for that should be worth a try.

It shouldn't be. Mis-written compilers would be perfectly capable 
of generating code which will run very slowly, but they shouldn't.
