[Mono-list] Chrome

Hi,

I wanted to try something different an saw this free chrome compiler. 
The sad thing is that I could not find any information about the syntax 
of the language. Does someone know of a basic tutorial for this language?

The second question I have is more general. Concerning the whole .net / 
Mono thing, is it important for the overall performance of an 
application, which language it is written in? It seems that is only a 
question of personal taste.
