Make sure that you load the environment file: /opt/mono/setup.sh (Or the
corresponding setup.csh)

You need to:

 /opt/mono/setup.sh

in order to set up the environment.

Let me know if that doesn't work.  I'll add some instructions on the
wiki about this.
