[Mono-list] Smart Clients?

I have found (Google Caché: [1]) the following question in an old
version of the Mono General FAQ [2]:

"Will I be able to run my smart clients on systems powered by Mono?"

"As long as your applications are 100% .NET and do not make use of
P/Invoke to call Win32 functions, your smart client applications will
run on Mono platforms."

Why this question is no longer in the FAQ? Because Mono is no longer
compatible with Smart Clients?

Let me guess: because there is no Gecko (or other) plugin yet to embed
Mono Smart Clients, the only way to run them would be using IE, so it is
not interesting to leave this information there? Am I right?

Would it be very difficult to develop such a plugin?

Thanks in advance,
