I've been told you can use
   "yum install libgdiplus mono-complete"
and it will install what you need for winforms.

Use a real tar. You will find that the files are in the archive and WinZip 
is just too braindead to extract them. Not sure why that is.

I stopped updating the progress box because it resulted in confusing entries 
in monologue. But the blog itself continues to be updated, albeit not as 
often as I'd like to do it. To avoid more people getting confused like that 
I just removed the progress box.
You should re-read the archives list again. It *starts* with January 2005, 
and at the bottom you will see January 2006.
