[Mono-list] LinkButton performance

Hello,
 
I've written before about performance issues I faced while porting web
application to mono platform. We are using MS App Test Center to flood
our application by requests for 1 user and discovered next thing: once I
add LinkButton component to the page performance dramatically falls from
120 requests per sec to 20 (!). For me it's critical. Has anyone else
faced with this too? How could this issue be improved?
