[Mono-list] mouse events

Hello,

I'm coding an application in my firm with Mono to target Linux and 
Windows platform.
I have to write a component with services like :
    - detection mouse events
    - detection keyboard events

in order to check the user is present in front of the computer (for 
security)

Can I write this component with the framework mono ?

If no, how can I do that under Linux ?
