Just to point out the obvious, "more stable" isn't Stable.  I have no
idea if things will change between 0.10 and 1.0, but if things can
change, it might be better to wait until 1.0, unless you have enough
free time to follow the future GStreamer API changes...

Otherwise, we'll just be repeating what originally happened with Gst# --
bindings are created, GStreamer changes, and the bindings are
immediately out of date, with nobody maintaining them for the current
version of GStreamer.

So we should either wait for a truly stable release, or ensure that we
have enough time to actually follow the underlying GStreamer changes.
Otherwise you have perpetually old releases which will never get used
(because they're known to be old, unmaintained, and won't be fixed).
