I think this line means that he (Alex Nedelcu) is not living in the US so he
don't have to worry about software patents and shouldn't "whine like an
idiot" as there are no software patents in Romania. (I'm not sure but
probably they have no software patents.) And should not be interpreted as
stating that americans are idiots.

And I think we should be more intelligent that offending each other.:)
People like Alex Nedelcu who is speaking vulgar and states that Mono is a
dead idea rate themselves rather than their country or other people so I
think we should not come down to his level and arguing about things like
whose nation invented more things or what nation is more stupid that the
others.
