[Mono-list] mono and nunit

hi everybody

i downloaded mono from go-mono.org (the current linux installer) and
installed it. however, although on the nunit home page they tell me that
mono comes with nunit, i can't find it anywhere in the mono
installation. the only thing i can find is gnunit, which of course fails
to run, because nunit-core is missing.
is there anybody who can tell me if this is a bug, or how i can install
it manually.
i can't follow the manual installation instructions on the nunit site.
they just tell me to register nunit in the gac with gac-util. great...
how??? what parameters? where do i have to put the nunit files? what
about the gid-directories i find in the nunit lib directory? do i have
to create one by myself? i just can't figure it out.

i'd really appreciate any help
