[mono-list] Is MIDI implemented with Mono

Very good point. Looks much nicer than preprocessor
directives. With the huge amount of work you have put
into Mono, have you come across another way of calling
multimedia functions in .NET (and therefore Mono). Are
they simply not part of the FCS and therefore need to
be DllImported?
I am under the impression that if they were,
portability of my apps would already be achieved by
calling these  multimedia functions in Mono once the
corresponding elements of the FCS have been
implemented. Considering that Mono runs on Windows,
Linux and OS X, that would achieve everything I
wanted.
