[Mono-list] Is MIDI implemented with Mono

Taking the issue of MIDI further, I wonder whether
there
are ways in Mono to use the midiStream functions. They
are part of the Win32 API, so I expect to be able to
use them with DllImport. Have these functions also
been integrated into the FCL as it was done with MCI?
Are there limitations to the use of DllImport when
using Mono under Linux?
Along similar lines, are there ways other than
DllImport to call low level digital audio functions
corresponding to waveOutOpen etc. in the Win32 API?
