[Mono-list] httpHandlers under mono

Ok, I have an httpHandler that works fine under MS.NET <http://MS.NET>. It
doesn't seem to do anything under mod_mono (apache) or XSP. In my
web.configfile, I have:

* <httpHandlers>
<add verb="*" path="ajax/*.ashx" type="Ajax.PageHandlerFactory, Ajax" />
</httpHandlers>

*But navigating to http://site/ajax/common.ashx simply returns a "directory
not found" with this stack trace:

System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the
path "/usr/share/TKWeb/ajax".

**Any ideas? Do I need to do something special for mono to implement a
handler? I'm not even sure how to debug this from the server. --verbose
doesn't really provide much information. I'm using version
1.1.9.2<http://1.1.9.2>under SuSE
9.3.
