[Mono-list] Difference between mono 1.1 and .Net

Hi guys!!
I am porting stuff from .Net to mono and having a lot of trouble with
remoting ... and cannot figure out where (some how it happens that the
socket opened for remoting get's closed everything happening locally
on the same comp)
So can some one please give some pointers to figure out the
differences between .Net and Mono1.1 (specially remoting). That would
help me out a lot.
