[Mono-list] Configure Problem

You don't need to specify /usr/local, it's set as the default. Also the
format is

--prefix=/usr/local - note, no spaces and an equals.

You need glibc-2.0 or higher. Which flavour of linux are you using
(assuming you're using linux that is!)?
