Paul,

On my website
(http://webpages.charter.net/mdeggers/howto-mono-fedora.html), I've listed
the locations for all the tarballs that I used. I just checked the Cairo
website and was able to get the tarball CVS snapshots for libpixman and
libcairo.

I decided to use the snapshots rather than checking out the bleeding edge
version from CVS. This seems to work well for 1.0.5. I haven't tried the
dev branch of 1.1.3. It is on my list of things to do, since I am
interested in building cross-platform GUI applications with as little
change to the Windows side that I can get away with.

Currently I develop cross-platform applications in Java and I'm interested
in seeing how Mono/C#/.NET stacks up. So far it's been six to one, half a
dozen to the other.

Maybe I'll just stick with perl . . .

/mde/
just my two cents . . . .
