[Mono-list] What is the service URL for the mono channel

Many thanks. The channel offering mono appears now to be called GNOME.
On my installation at home, the channels are things like
mono-1.1-official.

So, in short, I'd not subscribed to the GNOME channel and therefore
couldn't find Mono. When I subscribed to GNOME, I could find mono and
it's all successfully installed now.

By the way, lots of mono packages are listed, but it appears that only
mono-core is needed to get all the rest (mono-data, windows forms etc
etc). Is that right?

When I tried to install all the offered packages the transaction failed,
but when I just installed mono-core everything seemed to go OK and it
looks as though the stuff I need is all there. Do you know if there is
anything other than mono-core that needs to be installed?

Cheers

Peter
