I'm trying to cross compile mono for a mips32 architecture from an intel linux box. I seem to have found that when cross compiling mono it also cross compile gemndesc wich converts the cpu-arch.md file to cpu-arch.h file. This cannot be correct since genmdesc will be executed on the intel linux box. to do the convertion. Is this a bug in the makefile.?
I hacked the line where genmdesc was executed in the makefile to use a old genmdesc that was compile for the intel linux box.
Another qeustion.
Can anyone tell me wich cross tool chain to use to cross compile mono to ppc from a intel linux box? And what does the ./configure command with its arguments more or less look like?
