[Mono-list] ByteFX remote clients

I use ByteFX.Data.MySqlClient to access MySQL databases.
When I use the Database at the localhost, it works fine.
When I use the database on a remote server, there is an error which says it 
can't be opened, even if it is the ip of the localhost.
I use mono-1.1.8-2.
