Thanks for the swift reply Duncan, I tried the link you mentioned in
yum.conf and received the following message :-
Error getting file
http://www.go-mono.com/archive/1.0.6/fedora-2-i386/headers/header.info
[Errno 4] IOError: HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Is there a site I should be looking at to get the information on =
installing
with yum rather than
http://www.gotmono.net/documentation/mono-fedora-howto.html ?
Is there a better way of installing/maintaining mono on a fedora box =
rather
than yum? The mono site provides virtually no information on installing =
with
yum, is this intentional to push users towards alternative methods or is =
it
simply an oversight?=20
Is FC2 going to be supported by mono, or will users wishing to avoid
installing from source (the potential target machines are not set up to
allow compilation from source) going to be forced to migrate to FC3?=20
Many thanks in advance, and sorry for all the newbie questions,
Matthew Reeve
