[Mono-list] Re: DotNetNuke on Mono (Windows)

Hmm... thought I replied to this reply but it may have been before my list
subscription went through..didn't see my reply in the archives...apologies if
this is a duplicate..

Unfortunately, though it has been discussed, no c# version of DotNetNuke is
available--and I'm not too hopeful one will be available any time soon.

However, DNN is a powerful and flexible portal framework with which I already
have experience and so would like to continue to use it as I transition 
to open
source.

Has any one else had any experience with trying to run DNN on Mono?  Though it
is written in VB, I thought mono (or .NET) can run code compiled to IL
regardless of the original .NET language.  Or does VB.NET itself require some
libraries that aren't implemented yet in Mono?
