Of course it does; all it does is opening Terminal and X11, setting 
DISPLAY and executing /path/to/mono /the/program.exe in Terminal, and - 
whoa! - there it is.
You must tell it you need X11 in its preferences, of course, as I noted 
in the "things it doesn't do" above.
