[Mono-list] modmono and apache + mod-mono bug

hi,
how can i defnine my web applications somewhere else than in the http.conf?? besause with the mod-mono MonoApplicationsConfigDir i have a "non Applications specified"!!!
 /usr/local/sites_web/conf is my directory where i have xml based config files
 /usr/local/sites_web is my document root
 mod-mono works if i put these informations into httpd.conf


Another question, why am i obliged to kill modmono processes by hand? BUG?????
