[Mono-list] Help: Install GTK# on OS/X

Sorry for the Newbie question, but does anyone have a handy document that explains what needs to be installed to compile GTK# on OS/X. is DarwinPorts a better resource than Fink for some of this stuff or is it easier to download-compile-install. I've had problems with downloading things from both Darwinports and Fink and I am now just wondering what is the list of things I need to install to compile GTK#.

I guess a DMG does not exist does it?
