[Mono-list] Building from CVS doesn't work

I got the following after a fresh cvs update
checking for pkg-config... /local/bin/pkg-config
./configure: line 20045: syntax error near unexpected token
`BASE_DEPENDENCIES,'
./configure: line 20045: `PKG_CHECK_MODULES(BASE_DEPENDENCIES, glib-2.0

i'm also using darwinports
