[Mono-list] mod_mono, apache2, and red carpet (Service Temporarily Unavailable)

Khaled,

You are right, the user running apache and the user running
mod-mono-server MUST have read/write permissions on the
/tmp/mod_mono_server file, ... but these permissions must
be set AFTER mod-mono-server has been started!

For instance, to get mod_mono running, you must proceed
as following:

1. If /tmp/mod_mono_server already exists, remove it;

2. Start mod-mono-server in background. This causes
   the file /tmp/mod_mono_server to be created;

3. chmod 777 /tmp/mod_mono_server (or set read/write
   permissions just for the user running apache and the
   user running mod-mono-server);

That is it!
