[Mono-list] Problems building MCS

I am having trouble building mcs. The build process can't seem to locate
bytefx.snk.  I can't seem to find it manually either. I would appreciate any
help. Thank you.

P.S. I also have trouble finding the step-by-step instructions on how to build
the mcs and mono runtime.
