[Mono-list] Does mono support Codebehind in ASP .net?

The pages are, the codebehind files are not, iirc...

Even in windows using IIS you must first compile the .cs file.

VS.NET automatically builds it when you use the "play" button.

ehm, probably this is a really stupid beginner's mistake ... I always 
thought, aspx pages were compiled automatically when they are requested 
for the first time?

Or is that only right for IIS and VS .net?
