[Mono-list] libwinnt.dll.so not found error

Hi,
  I am new to linux and started setting up my m/c recently for .NET. I installed the latest 0.30 release from mono and installed mono-wine rpm also. When i try to run the program, it gave me an error as following
 
System.DllNotFoundException: libwinnt.dll.so. But i have that file in /usr/lib and it is still locatable from which command. i have added that to the PATH and setup MONO_PATH to pick additional runtime libraries.
Since i am new to linux, i may not be knowing much as to how to setup the environments.
 
Any help on this would be apprecicated.
