[Mono-list] Mono on FreeBSD?

Steve,

Actually what I have is Mono-0.26 running on FreeBSD 4.6. I have heard very
little sucess in getting the Mono-0.28 port to run on FreeBSD at all. I
would start with getting the latest port source and go from there. It looks
like alot of the focus has been on the boehm-gc garbage collector. This post

Hi Julian,

I just redid my home server that runs FreeBSD 4.9.  I tried installing .28
on FreeBSD 4.8 with little success.  I've not tried 5.x recently but to get
mono going guess I'll give it a shot.
