[Mono-list] ADO MySQL Provider and Mono - Linux

I should have meant "tcp/ip socket". By default, mysql allows unix socket only,
e.g. /tmp/mysql.sock for the MySQL AB distribution and
/var/run/mysql/mysql.sock for Redhat/Debian, etc. ByteFX does not know how to
connect to these sockets. Instead you have to give it a hostname and a port so
that it can connect to this half-connection.
